September 2009: On the occasion of Detlef Männig's 25th anniversary with Evonik Degussa, his colleagues donated 300 €. 

November, 2007: Also on the occasion of Inge Maennig's 50th anniversary, we asked for donations for the foundation instead of gifts. The result this time was 1200 €. A big Thank You for all who contributed to this! For some of you, this has been the second time.
Daughter Iris was the unexpected guest of this evening. Without Inge knowing of it, she came back earlier from Peru. Accordingly, surprise and joy were overwhelming.

October, 2006: On the occasion of Manfred Maennig's 75th anniversary, we asked for donations for the foundation instead of gifts. The result was 2000 €. A big Thank You for all who contributed. Iris who is currently a volunteer in Peru with the Salesians of Don Bosco could not attend but sent her "felicitationes".
